Our New Look

Watch This Space

It’s not your imagination—we’ve refreshed our homepage.

In lieu of a Grand Theory Of The Internet or What-It-All-Means statements that tend to accompany website rollouts, I’ll just say that we hope these changes make it even easier to discover and enjoy our original journalism. The only goal is to make a simple experience that pleases our users and advertisers alike. (Yes, we believe it’s possible to do both at the same time. More on that in the future.)

As someone who has been on the web before, you probably know that website changes can result in a few…hiccups. Please be patient if you experience any. If one of those hiccups is that you loathe the changes—or love them—you’re welcome to email me. Better still, if you’ve got an idea for a more elegant way to do (or not do) something, you can email me about that, too.

Much more to come in the not-too-distant future. For now, though, we hope you’ll enjoy the new homepage. We’re excited to bring it to you. Above all, thanks for being loyal readers of The Daily Beast.
