Pakistan Hails Teen Hero

Pakistan is paying tribute to 15-year-old Aitzaz Hasan, who was killed Monday when he confronted and challenged a suicide bomber outside his school. Across social media, Pakistani citizens are calling Aitzaz a hero and calling for the student to receive the Nishan-i-Haider, the country’s highest military decoration, given to soldiers who sacrifice their lives for Pakistan. Aitzaz saved about 2,000 students who were at the school when the bomber approached.
