Pakistan is accusing NATO of killing 28 soldiers in a helicopter raid on a military checkpoint in the northwest of the country. In retaliation for the alleged attack, they've shut down vital supply routes for NATO troops in Afghanistan. Gen. John R. Allen, the NATO commander in Afghanistan, offered his condolences to the family of any Pakistani soldiers who “may have been killed or injured” in the “incident,” but wouldn't give any details. He said an investigation is underway.
