Palin Emails to be Released

Here comes the motherlode. Alaska will release 24,000 of Sarah Palin's emails from her two years as governor on Friday. The emails were first requested during the 2008 presidential election, but the delay has been attributed to the sheer volume of the release and the flood of requests. The state will release the 24,000 pages in paper form only and it is asking news organizations to pick up the several boxes in the city of Juneau. Palin said on Sunday that "a lot of those emails obviously weren't meant for public consumption" and that some of them might be taken "out of context." Palin's attorneys have already been given the opportunity to view them, but no emails were withheld as a result of that.
