You mess with the Tea Party, you mess with Sarah Palin: The former governor of Alaska is attacking the NAACP after the civil-rights group passed a resolution denouncing “racist elements” within the Tea Party movement. She called the NAACP’s resolution “a regressive and diversionary tactic.” In its resolution, the NAACP cited racist signs at Tea Party rallies and reports that black congressmen were spit on and slurred by protesters when they voted for health-care legislation.
