Pastor Backs Out of Inauguration

Maybe now President Obama can find someone without allegations of homophobia? Sources said Thursday that the Rev. Louie Giglio backed out of giving the benediction at the Obama inauguration two days after he was chosen—and one day after allegations of homophobia in his past leaked out. Giglio is the pastor of the Passion City Church in Georgia, and the liberal website ThinkProgress reported Wednesday that he delivered a sermon in the mid-1990s calling homosexuality a sin and called for “recovery” for gay people.
