In a provocative new ad for Hudson Jeans, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver’s oldest son, Patrick Schwarzenegger, poses shirtless—but he's hardly the first star child to take up modeling. From Lenny Kravitz and Lisa Bonet's daughter Zoe to Ernest Hemingway's great-granddaughter Dree, see more celebrity offspring who became famous faces of their own.

Los Angelenos won’t be able to miss the new face of Hudson Jeans: Patrick Schwarzenegger, the 17-year-old son of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver, has posed shirtless on a steamy new billboard overlooking Sunset Boulevard. “My mom raised me with the idea of doing public service, and I definitely want to go in that direction,” the aspiring model and cofounder of the Project360 fashion charity told Details. “But I also want to follow in my dad's entrepreneurial footsteps.”

Riley Keough, the 22-year-old grandchild of Elvis and Priscilla Presley—and daughter of Lisa Marie Presley and musician/actor Danny Keough—was only 14 when she made her runway debut in 2004, wearing Dolce & Gabbana. That August she also appeared on the cover of Vogue, alongside her mom and grandma.

Lenny Kravitz and Lisa Bonet’s daughter Zoe Kravitz, 22, is best known for her roles in X-Men: First Class and The Brave One, but she's also a model. She was the face of Vera Wang's Princess fragrance in 2009 and the Preppy Princess variation in 2011, and she’s glammed it up for Elle magazine. One label she isn’t comfortable with? “It” girl. “All that ‘It Girl’ shit makes me kind of uncomfortable," Kravitz told ASOS magazine. “I'm only at the beginning of my career, but I feel successful in that I haven't sold out in any way, shape or form ... Fame has become this obsession for people, which kind of creeps me out.”

With a mother like supermodel Jerry Hall, it’s no surprise that Georgia May Jagger, 19-year-old daughter of the Rolling Stones’ Mick Jagger, has launched a successful career in front the camera. Along with modeling for Hudson Jeans (the same company that snagged Patrick Schwarzenegger), Jagger has graced the covers of magazines, worked for Chanel, and, in 2010, taken home the British Fashion Awards’ model-of-the-year prize. Jagger looks up to her mother as a role model. "My mum is just a really nice person, and she has always made me be thankful for life, and my quality of life," she told the London Evening Standard. “Her advice to me about being a model was always be yourself, be happy, never do something that you don't want to do."

The daughter of Isabella Rossellini and ex-husband Jonathan Wiedemann, a Microsoft exec and himself a former model, began modeling in college, sitting for Bruce Weber for Abercrombie & Fitch. The 28-year-old later spent two years working in Milan, and she recently posed for Banana Republic's 2011 spring campaign. Following in her legendary mother’s footsteps, she’s now the spokesmodel for Lancôme's moisturizer and makeup products.

The daughter of Aerosmith lead singer Steven Tyler and the late model/actress Cyrinda Foxe, plus-size model Mia Tyler kicked off her career in front of the camera early, starring in the MTV reality show House of Style at age 17. She’s since appeared on VH1's Celebrity Fit Club and Really Rich Real Estate, and served as a judge on Oxygen's Pretty Wicked. In 2009 she launched her own clothing line, Revolution 1228. “I was born into a famous family. I’m not one of those girls who’s going to sit around and spend Daddy’s money and not have a job,” the 32-year-old told Suicide Girls Blog. “I try to use the platform I was born with to show people I’m human—we’re all human, we all suffer, and let’s try to help each other out.”

After beginning her modeling career at age 2, Daisy Lowe—daughter of singer-songwriter turned fashion designer Pearl Lowe—has gone on to pose for the covers of Tatler, Vogue, GQ, Marie Claire, and Interview, and walk runways for Nanette Lepore, Charlotte Ronson, and Vivienne Westwood, among others. When she was 14, Lowe learned through a scandalous paternity test that her father is rocker Gavin Rossdale (now married to Gwen Stefani), but she’s refused to let the drama get to her. “Most of the time it doesn't have an effect on my life,” the 21-year-old told Gigwise at 16. “It's annoying when teachers say they've read things about me, and my head of year takes me aside and asks if I'm all right. But you've got to deal with it. There's no point going to cry in the toilet."

The Rolling Stones’ Keith Richards has not one but two daughters in the fashion business. Alexandra and Theodora's mother is model Patti Hansen. The girls, now 25 and 26, respectively, got their start when they were asked to shoot a Tommy Hilfiger ad at ages 15 and 16. This past March, Theodora had a run-in with the law when police busted her for spraying graffiti on a convent wall in New York City, and found marijuana and hydrocodone pills in her purse. Alexandra has appeared on dozens of magazine covers.

With Ernest Hemingway as a great-grandfather, one might hope for the kind of beauty worthy of a novel, and Dree Hemingway has made a career of hers. The 23-year-old ballet dancer turned model, and daughter of actress Mariel Hemingway, has walked for Shiatzy Chen, House of Holland, Karl Lagerfeld, Giles, Chanel, and Rue du Mail, and done editorial spreads for Harper's Bazaar, i-D, V, W, and Vogue. When Gianfranco Ferré announced that Hemingway would be the new face of its advertising campaign, the creative directors said they chose her because she portrayed “the free and fearless nature of an utterly feminine woman.”

Few kids have dreadlocks at age 9 and tattoos and a tongue stud by 11, but what can you expect when your father is famous French director Jacques Doillon and your mother is British actress-singer bombshell Jane Birkin? Lou Doillon, 28, started her acting career playing her mother’s daughter in Kung-Fu Master in 1987 and went on to star in films including this year’s Naked in London. The unique beauty is also the face and muse of Givenchy, and in 2007 she modeled for the Pirelli calendar. “I thought my mother, having run around half-naked in the 1960s, would be more into [my modeling],” she told the Times of London, “but it was actually my father who said, ‘This is the best plan ever—do it! Make some money modeling and then you can do low-budget movies, and because you’ll be a name, you’ll help to get the films made.’”

Bria Murphy, daughter of comedian Eddie Murphy and model Nicole Murphy, was declared the new face of Dark & Lovely, a leading hair relaxer for African-American women, last January. After working to get her modeling career off the ground for two years, the 21-year-old took off seemingly overnight, starring in Gucci Mane’s video “Spotlight” and appearing on America’s Next Top Model. Bria also works with Dark & Lovely’s model-search campaign, advising other aspiring models to “just be sure of yourself and never give up,” in an interview with Essence. “Always go for what you believe in. Anything is possible if you put your energy, time, and hard work into it.”

The great-granddaughter of publishing magnate William Randolph Hearst and daughter of kidnapping victim Patricia Campbell Hearst led a fairly normal life growing up in Wilton, Conn., until she was discovered by fashion photographer Steven Meisel while attending Sacred Heart University. Her first assignment was for the cover of Italian Vogue, and the 26-year-old has since gone on to appear in the pages of Harper's Bazaar, GQ, and Elle, and to pose for fashion designers including Louis Vuitton, Moschino, Prada, and DKNY. Hearst will also appear in two independent films screening at the Sundance and Toronto film festivals this year.
