House Minority Leader Rep. Nancy Pelosi refused to call on Anthony Weiner to resign Friday, saying that such a decision is to be made by the “individual member” of Congress and his district. Pelosi has called for a House Ethics investigation into his behavior. So far, at least nine House members and three Senators have demanded that the seven-term Congressman to step down. However, Weiner and his constituents may not have a choice come 2012: With New York losing two House seats, some are pointing at Weiner’s seat as particularly vulnerable, especially given the recent scandal.
