Vice President Mike Pence tried to make his sell for the repeal and replacement of Obamacare at a conference of the National Governors Association on Friday. “The president said he wanted a health care system that in his words is far less expensive and far better,” Pence said calling the Senate bill the “right bill at the right time to begin the end of Obamacare.” But a number of Republican and Democratic governors are skeptical of the legislation. Ohio Governor John Kasich issued a statement expressing disapproval with the bill on Friday. And Montana Governor Steve Bullock, a Democrat, said Republicans in Congress are “still trying to put lipstick on a pig. But guess what: It’s still a pig.”
