The Pentagon has identified a 4th U.S. service member killed by a roadside bomb last week in central Afghanistan. Sgt. Jason Mitchell McClary, 24, from Export, Pennsylvania, died Sunday in Germany, as a result of injuries sustained from the explosion on Nov. 27. U.S. Army Green Berets Captain Andrew P. Ross, Sergeant 1st Class Eric M. Emond, and U.S. Air Force Staff Sergeant Dylan Elchin also died from the attack near the Afghan city of Ghazni. Twenty-three civilians also died in the attack, which was the deadliest day for U.S. troops in Afghanistan this year, according to the UN. Taliban militants have reportedly claimed responsibility for the blast. An American contractor who was also injured in the bombing has reportedly died. The incident is currently under investigation.
