The Department of Defense’s inspector general reported that a principal director within that same ethics department physically harassed and made inappropriate comments to employees in at least four separate incidents. According to the inspector general, Joseph F. Guzowski “engaged in unwelcomed and intentional touching” of two employees, made a derogatory comment in another incident, threw money at an employee during a presentation, and told female employees that they “need to lose weight” and “need to follow his diet.” The IG recommended that the Army take “appropriate action against Guzowski, whose full title is: Senior Executive Service, Principal Director to The Inspector General for Inspections, Headquarters, Department of the Army Inspector General Agency.
