Don’t mess with Texas. Rick Perry released a slick new campaign ad that goes full throttle against frontrunner Mitt Romney, attacking his jobs record in Massachusetts and tying him to Obama’s health-care reform. “Even the richest man can’t buy back his past,” the ad states. The video also shows Romney signing health-care-reform legislation during his days as governor, with a mirror image of President Obama signing his own landmark health-care bill. ABC News reports that Perry, who is behind in the polls by as much as 9 points, plans to spend $20 million on anti-Romney ads.
