Here’s something Herman Cain can “bump” his 9-9-9 plan with: Texas Gov. Rick Perry will propose a flat tax next week. Although he did not give any details about his plan, he said he wants to eliminate the “3 million words of the current tax code.” Perry added that it’s going to be so simple that “even Timothy Geithner” will be able to file his taxes on time. Preaching that he was not an “establishment” candidate, Perry indirectly jabbed the other GOP contenders. He also revealed that his plan would include spending cuts and a balanced-budget amendment.
