Pharmaceutical company Pfizer will not allow its drugs to be used in lethal injections, the company announced Friday. Pfizer joins more than 20 other U.S. and European drug manufacturers with bans against their products’ use in executions. This latest ban makes it increasingly difficult for U.S. states with the death penalty to obtain drugs for lethal injections.
