Phoenix Police Announce 9th Attack by Serial Killer

CREEPY

Police link non-fatal July 11 attack to serial shooter.

Police in Phoenix say a serial killer terrorizing the city since March struck a ninth time but failed to kill his victim. The latest attack in a string of shootings occurred July 11, when a vehicle with a 21-year-old man and a 4-year-old boy was fired on in central Phoenix, police said Wednesday. Police have now linked that attack to a serial shooter who has killed seven people since March 17—the first serial killer in Phoenix in a decade. In total, police are now investigating nine separate attacks by the serial shooter, who preys on people sitting in vehicles or outside their homes after dark.
