Jeroen Oerlemans, a Dutch photojournalist, was killed Sunday when he took fire from an ISIS sniper in Libya, a government spokesman said. Oerlemans, 46, was covering a skirmish between the terror group and pro-government troops when he was shot in the chest multiple times. In 2012, Oerlemans was kidnapped and held for a week in Syria while covering the civil war there. His photos had most recently made their way into the Dutch newspaper De Volkskrant. He leaves behind a girlfriend and three children.
