Pia Toscano, whose premature dismissal on Thursday shocked the show’s fans—as well as host Jennifer Lopez, who tweeted in solidarity with the 22-year-old—has already scored a major record deal, according to Us Weekly. Toscano has reportedly landed with Interscope Records, headed by Jimmy Iovine, the famous hitmaker who has guided the careers of Lady Gaga and Eminem. Considering the great rebound, Toscano has been taking her sudden loss in stride. “It was my time to go on the show and I’m excited to see what my future holds,” she told reporters on Friday.
