A United Airlines pilot reportedly threw away live ammunition in a plane toilet during an international flight from Houston to Germany, the airline said on Thursday. United Airlines is investigating the June incident, but the pilot remains an employee, according to a company statement. A pilot is allowed to carry weapons under federal law, but only in the U.S.
