Pinkberry Co-Founder Found Guilty

Pinkberry co-founder Young Lee was found guilty on Friday of beating a homeless man with a tire iron. The victim, Daniel Bolding, had been panhandling in East Hollywood in June 2011 when he approached Lee’s car and showed off a tattoo of a couple of stick figures having sex. The former frozen yogurt mogul (he’s no longer involved with Pinkberry) became so incensed by this that, after driving away, he came back later with another man to beat Bolding. The L.A. County Superior Court Judge who oversaw the three-week-long trial said the evidence made it clear that Lee was a “threat to the community.” He faces a maximum seven years in state prison and will be sentenced on January 14.
