A police chief and a deputy were shot in Sebastian County, Arkansas on Wednesday morning, local media outlets report. The Sebastian County Sheriff's Office reported that the deputy was in critical condition and that the City of Hackett police chief was hospitalized. The suspect was reportedly carrying a semi-automatic weapon and was not cooperating with authorities. He was barricaded in a home at about 11 a.m. local time.
