British police have released the names of two of the three men accused of committing an attack on London Bridge and Borough Market on Saturday, killing seven people and injuring dozens more. Detectives believe the men, who were shot dead during the attack, are Khuram Shazad Butt and Rachid Redouane, both from east London. A third man who was killed in the aftermath of the attack has not been identified. Butt, 27, was a British citizen who was born in Pakistan. Redouane, 30, claimed to be Moroccan and Libyan. Butt was already known to the police and to MI5, but no intelligence suggested that an attack of this nature was in the works. Redouane was not known to authorities. “I would urge anyone with information about these men, their movements in the days and hours before the attack and the places they frequented to come forward,” said Assistant Police Commissioner Mark Rowley. “The police and our partners are doing everything we can across the country to help prevent further attacks and protect the public from harm.” Prime Minister Theresa May on Monday announced that 11 suspects were currently in custody in the aftermath of raids following the attack.
