A man suspected of assault with a deadly weapon was killed in an officer-involved shooting at one of the busiest—and most famous—intersections in Los Angeles on Friday night. The shooting occurred around 7 p.m. at Hollywood Boulevard and Highland Avenue. The suspect, who was armed with a knife, according to police, was taken to a local hospital in critical condition but later died.
