Police say the 47-year-old man arrested in early Monday’s mosque attack in London has now been charged with terror offenses. He was charged with attempted murder and with “commission, preparation, or instigation of terrorism including murder and attempted murder.” Police say they believe the suspect acted alone when he drove a van drove through a crowd of people near the North London mosque, leaving one man dead and eight others injured. Two of the people hit by the van are described as “very seriously injured.” British officials said they are treating the attack as an act of terrorism, the fourth such incident in the U.K. in three months.
