Police shot and killed a man in New York on Sunday morning as he reached for a gun, according to NYPD. They had been following him in a foot chase after seeing him with an open bottle of alcohol next to a double parked SUV. His family identified him as 32-year-old George Tillman who was visiting from Maryland. He was surrounded by five officers at which point he reached for a gun, leading them to fire at him.
