Sarah Palin guest-hosted the Today Show this morning on NBC.
Matt Lauer interviewed Palin during the show's first hour, and in the second hour she participated on segments about young professionals, cheese, and Oprah Winfrey.
According to New York Daily News, she managed to throw in a couple good quips about her doppelganger, Tina Fey:
During the “Young Professionals” panel segment, when Lauer asked about Ashton Kutcher being hired to play Steve Jobs in a movie, Palin said, “Do any of you have experience with people being paid a lotta money to pretend they are you?”
The Washington Post noted that playing nice with NBC suits Palin's long-term interest in staying relevant:
She knows that the worst thing in the world (or at least in her world) is to have people stop talking about her. And the best way to keep people talking is to maintain the sort of hate/love relationship with the media that her political career has been built on over the last four years.
Did she do herself any favors this morning? Or was her dip into the "lamestream media" another showcase of her polarizing stature? Palin hosted the Today Show this morning. What did you think? Vote now on Facebook!
