Today we asked, "Palin hosted the Today Show this morning. What did you think?"

Didn't watch: 46%Saw one minute of it--unbearable: 21%An American treasure: 12%She's found her future: 10%She is a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing: 3%NBC lost my viewership with this move: 3%She should stick to Fox: 3%

Nearly a majority didn't watch the show at all, and for those who did, they didn't watch very long. One commenter summed up these sentiments:

forked tongue: You mean you think any of us actually watched it?

Another proposed a new question.

Jason R. Poll Question: who cares?

Other readers were very antagonistic toward Palin:

J'nene K: I have watched the Today Show for 30 years and when they have a "co host" in the "sweet spot" that screams "anyone but a Republican", I will be back. Not before. The "lame stream media" does not need her brand of bigotry. FOX hate should stay on FOX. I am not interested in "talking point challenged" co hosts. I guess TODAY is not interested in my demographic anymore: I don't carry a gun, I like to read, I don't buy glasses that make me look like someone else, ETC. Just because she's a woman and I'm a feminist does not make her my favorite WINO: woman in name only.

Kate W: Sarah Palin needs to be able to define accurately terms like socialism before she gets to throw them around as weapons. My opinion hasn't changed - I still think she is ridiculously ignorant.

But there was still a small minority that proclaimed her a national treasure (though there was probably some sarcasm there):

Jim M: Sarah did herself proud.
