Pope John Paul II to Be Sainted

Pope Francis is really shaking things up in V-City. Now he’s approved a miracle attributed to Pope John Paul II and decided that another pope, John XXIII, doesn’t even need to have a second miracle confirmed on his way to sainthood, leading the way to a double canonization. The Vatican said that Francis had the power to “dispense” with the formalities and make the earlier pope a saint based on his merit, 50 years since his death. John Paul II’s saint-maker was the curing of a Costa Rican woman of a cerebral aneurysm.
