Pope Francis spoke to thousands of young people at a gathering in Poland on Sunday and encouraged them to "believe in a new humanity." "People may judge you to be dreamers, because you believe in a new humanity, one that rejects hatred between peoples, one that refuses to see borders as barriers and can cherish its own traditions without being self-centered or small-minded," Francis said to the group, primarily young and many of whom were immigrants from various regions of the world. Earlier in his trip, he had emphasized the importance of people coming together to help refugees from all lands.
