Possible Midwest Tornado Kills One

Causes damage Wednesday.

What is being described as a possible line of tornadoes swept across the Midwest Wednesday morning, killing one and causing other reported injuries and damage. The death occurred in a trailer park in Missouri. Another 13 people were injured at the trailer park outside Buffalo. In other areas of southwest Missouri, people were trapped in their homes and lost power. In the city of Branson, rescuers were combing the city house to house checking for injured. In Kansas, Gov. Sam Brownback declared a state of emergency on Tuesday after a tornado touched down in Harveyville.
