President Donald Trump’s Twitter account was accidentally deactivated for a short time on Thursday evening, the social media platform said. The page displayed a message saying, “Sorry, that page does not exist!” The president’s Twitter account was later restored after being down for 11 minutes. In a statement, Twitter said the account was “inadvertently deactivated due to human error by a Twitter employee,” adding: “We are continuing to investigate and are taking steps to prevent this from happening again.”
