The undisputed star of the Royal tour of Australasia bid farewell to the country today as he and his parents shipped out of an army base in the Australian capital, Canberra.
The tour has seen George and his parents cover thousands of miles down under, in a trip which has taken in New Zealand and the east coast of Australia.
The little Prince was dressed in a red cardigan, white shirt, red-and-white pinstripe shorts, white socks, and black shoes, and wriggled in his parents’ arms as they were bid farewell by Prime Minister Tony Abbot.Earlier in the day, Wiliam and Kate had attended a dawn service of remembrance marking Anzac Day, the Australian equivalent of Veterans Day.
Airport staff were seen carefully loading Prince George's giant toy wombat onto the plane.
