Prince Harry will be making a royal visit to Nottingham later this month, spending a day in the city on Thursday 25th April, as part of his latest charitable role as royal patron of the charity Headway for those affected by Brain Injury.

Harry's first stop on the tour will be to the brain injury charity, where he will open Headway’s new headquarters, meeting people who have been directly affected by brain injury, as well as taking part in an interactive workshop to gain an insight into the difficulties people with brain injury can face.

Prince Harry will be following in his mother’s footsteps, with Diana, Princess of Wales having occupied the role of the charity’s Royal Patron from 1991 to 1996.

“We are thrilled and delighted that Prince Harry has agreed to visit us in our new home in Nottingham to learn of the work we do to support people affected by brain injury,” said Andrew Green MBE, Chair of Headway.“Princess Diana’s support of the charity greatly enhanced its profile and we hope Prince Harry’s visit will help us achieve similar results. It will be a momentous day in the history of the charity.”
