Prince William and Kate Send Out Invites

Elton is in, Obamas are a no-go.

More details have been revealed about the attendees of Prince William and Kate Middleton's upcoming nuptials: The guest list will include 60 leaders from Australia, Canada, and New Zealand and over 200 members of government and parliament. Nearly 2,000 gold-embossed invitations have been sent out, but the couple's family and friends will make up the majority of guests. Roughly 600 people will attend a lunchtime reception with the queen at Buckingham Palace, while a more select group of 300 will be treated to an evening banquet hosted by Prince Charles. There are rumors that Elton John, the Beckhams, and even Kanye West will attend. Barack and Michelle Obama will miss out on the royal event, as will French Prime Minister Nicolas Sarkozy and his wife Carla Bruni-Sarkozy.
