Princeton Football Player Comes Out

Princeton junior offensive lineman Mason Darrow revealed he was gay Tuesday in an interview with Outsports.com, making him the only publicly out Division I football player. The 6-foot-5, 285-pound lineman told Outsports.com how lineman Caleb Slate helped him rip off the “Band-Aid” to tell his teammates, who accepted and supported him. “Telling my teammates was the best decision I have ever made,” Darrow said.
