A loud blast was heard outside the Ukraine parliament shortly after a bill that would more autonomy to pro-Russian separatists was passed, an AFP journalist said. Interior ministry adviser Anton Gerashchenko wrote on Facebook that attackers threw a hand grenade at national guard troops protecting the building in what he called an “act of provocation.”
