Protests Start After D.C. Cops 'Harass' Black Teen

After video emerged of Washington, D.C. police officers aggressively restraining 18-year-old black Jason Goolsby outside a bank, protests have begun in the nation's capital. Footage from the Monday incident, filmed and uploaded to Twitter by a friend, showed the student and aspiring rapper shouting while officers twist his arms behind his back. The video's caption alleged that the pair had been "harassed and assaulted because 'someone felt uncomfortable around us' at the bank." In response to the uproar, an official confirmed that "no criminal act was found to have taken place after the individuals were stopped and interviewed" and indicated the department will review whether the officers followed proper procedure.
