Puerto Rico’s Gov. Ricardo Rossello has ordered an investigation into lapses in water delivery on the storm-ravaged island, promising “hell to pay” if local authorities are found to have interfered. “If there is a place, a locality that is not delivering food to the people of Puerto Rico that need it, there’s going to be some hell to pay,” Rossello told CNN on Monday. Sixty percent of Puerto Rico had drinking water on Monday, Rossello said, but in some more remote regions, only 20 percent of residents had water. “Some people in those municipalities are claiming that they’re not seeing anything be delivered or they don’t know where to find food,” Rossello said. “It’s important that we investigate why this is happening.”
