Russia’s Vladimir Putin is almost guaranteed to return to the Kremlin in tomorrow’s Russian presidential election, but that won’t stop protesters from staging mass demonstrations against his leadership. The wave of protests recently sweeping the country showed that a huge portion of the population was fed up with Putin’s government, and police are already prepping for civil unrest following his reelection. Putin got way ahead of himself yesterday when he announced he was already considering running for a fourth time in 2018. “It would be normal, if things are going well, and people want it,” he said in an interview with foreign press.
