Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel apologized to alderman for the shooting of Laquan McDonald on Wednesday, as protesters gathered in the city. Emanuel said "that happened on my watch," and that it was incumbent upon him to say sorry "to begin the healing process." Meanwhile protesters in Chicago gathered in the Loop chanting "Rahm resign."
