Rahm Emanuel, whose gambit for the mayorship of Chicago is in danger of sinking due to charges that he’s not a full resident of the city, is arguing that his personal items at the home are proof. Citing a wedding dress, family china, and personal photo albums, Emanuel says he “was planning on coming home and I wanted to go back into the home” at a public hearing on the matter today in Chicago. The home, however, is being leased by a tenant who refuses to move out until the lease expires in June.
