Actor Randy Quaid was detained at a Canadian border crossing near Vermont late Friday, after federal agents determined that he is a fugitive from justice. Quaid and his wife are wanted on 2010 felony vandalism charges in Santa Barbara for squatting in a property they once owned. The Indepence Day actor fled to Canada that same year, but his permanent residency bid there was denied. Canadian officials had said he would be deported.
