The rebels are on the march once again, now with NATO air support. After taking the strategic town of Ajdabiya, Gaddafi's opposition seized the coastal towns of Brega and Ujala without a fight. The rebels also say they control the key oil town of Ras Lanuf, but this has not been confirmed, and that they are advancing toward the heartland of Gaddafi's support. Gaddafi's forces have been focused on shelling Misrata, the only major city in the west held by the rebels. "He pulled his forces out of Ajdabiya and Brega so that he puts all his weight in attacking Misrata and winning so he can control the whole west versus losing the whole east," a rebel told Reuters. Yesterday, French forces took out five Libyan warplanes and two helicopters outside Misrata.
