Apple and other technology giants including Ebay, IBM, Microsoft, PayPal and Salesforce will support transgender rights in a court brief for a case scheduled to be heard at the Supreme Court, according to a report in Axios. The Human Rights Campaign is also participating in the brief, which is being joined by Slack, Tumblr and Yelp, among others. On Wednesday the Trump administration announced it was nixing protections for transgender individuals that were instituted by the Obama administration involving bathroom use. The move was roundly condemned by LGBT activists, including Caitlyn Jenner, a Republican.
