Brett Talley, one of Trump’s yet-to-be-confirmed judicial picks, has offered to withdraw his federal nomination, BuzzFeed reported Tuesday. Talley was selected to sit on the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Alabama, but has come under scrutiny because he has never tried a case, was deemed “not qualified” by the American Bar Association, and failed to disclose his marriage to a White House lawyer. On top of his stated solution to the Sandy Hook school massacre being “to stop being a society of pansies and man up,” Talley also has a bizarre interest in paranormal activity and “ghosthunting.”
