The student pilot who died in a Tuesday crash near Pratt & Whitney headquarters in Connecticut was reportedly distraught and fought his instructor for control of the plane, according to law-enforcement officials. The sources told the Hartford Courant that the student, Feras M. Freitekh, 28, told the instructor, Arian Prevalla, that he no longer wanted to fly the plane and felt stressed over his poor performance in the flight academy. The National Transportation Safety Board said its initial probe into the deadly crash indicated it was intentional. Prevalla survived the incident.
