A Vice Media producer told a woman that the company would pay for her abortion if she allowed it to be filmed, according to a new exposé on the company published in New York magazine. The former associate producer made the offer in 2015, when Vice was working on a story about Texas’ abortion restrictions for HBO, the profile says. It was later rescinded after the producer’s manager learned about it, the exposé notes, and the producer was fired.
