An Iranian oil tanker reportedly sunk off the coast of the East China Sea on Sunday, according to Chinese state media. The tanker—which was carrying nearly a million barrels of oil to South Korea—had been on fire for more than a week after it experienced a collision. China’s Xinhua news agency reported that the oil itself was on fire, too, following a major explosion. Three bodies have been recovered, and the rest of the 32-person crew is presumed to be dead.
