Report: Mueller Requests Trump Data Firm’s Emails

Special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigative team has reportedly requested documents from the data firm the Trump campaign used in the 2016 campaign. According to The Wall Street Journal, Mueller is seeking all emails of Cambridge Analytica employees who also did work for the Trump campaign. Cambridge Analytica has reportedly complied with Mueller’s request, which was made as part of the special counsel’s investigation into Russia’s meddling in the 2016 election. The Daily Beast first reported in October that Cambridge Analytica chief Alexander Nix reached out to WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange about Hillary Clinton’s 33,000 missing emails.
