Omar Mateen, who carried out a deadly massacre in a gay club in Orlando, reportedly scouted Walt Disney World while he looked for places to target, U.S. officials told the Wall Street Journal. It was not clear which Disney World property Mateen considered for his attack. Mateen declared his allegiance to the Islamic State before he was shot and killed in a gun battle with police inside Pulse nightclub. He killed at least 49 people, and wounded another 53; and, according to multiple sources, five of them are still in "grave" condition.
