Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) is back on-board for the GOP tax bill, multiple outlets reported Friday afternoon after lawmakers agreed to increase the child tax credit to his liking. The Florida Republican had indicated on Thursday that he’d no longer support the bill if that tax-credit concession wasn’t made to him and Sen. Mike Lee (R-UT). And so, in a move to avoid losing the votes necessary to pass the latest iteration of the tax plan, Republicans expanded the credit.
